Didn't they recently change ownership (I think I saw a comment to that effect with the new Bridgeville location)?

But agree - if someone wants Ribs in the area, I tell them to drive to DeeJay's in Weirton. There was a former Penguins assistant coach that went to another team and every time he comes to town he takes the team all the way out there.

If you haven't committed yet -

I'm a huge fan of the PODS-style moving containers. You can get them delivered early (assuming you have a place to put it) and load at your own pace. It's like $150 just to rent the unit for a month, then when you're ready you pay whatever fee relating to where you move, and you can take your time to unload later.

Multiple friends have used them to move over the past 10 years or so. So much less stressful than the mad rush of "everything has to get out in one day, all hands on deck" with a truck rental. And you don't have to drive the huge thing to it's destination.

There's multiple companies that do something similar. All my friends used the PODS brand and never had any issues. I've been jerked around so many times by U-Haul, renting from one location, oh we don't have the truck you'll have to go to Moon to pick it up kind of things. My brother was driving one from Latrobe to Virginia in the hills and the brake calipers straight fell off and he had to wait 8 hours in the middle of no-where for someone to come fix it and walk up a hill to get cell signal.

So while I agree that maybe the term PTSD is maybe overused, just because he hasn't seen combat doesn't mean he didn't have it. The way it is presented in the article and criminal complaint may imply that his PTSD is from military service, but who knows.

Edit : That it is in the criminal complaint makes it seem to me that it's a legitimate confirmed diagnosis. Not a "someone cut in front of me at Sizzler and now I have PTSD" kind of situation.

I live less than 20 miles downwind from East Palestine. In the immediate aftermath local subs were full of panic posts about "omg death cloud, look at PurpleAir!".

Turns out it just got cold, and people burned wood. Happens frequently with the Cracker Plant as well, people try to correlate PurpleAir with it, it's always wood burners.

You're using the sensors right. It should be more of general guidance, leave the actual testing to scientists. Like, I wouldn't walk into a hazmat scene with my air purifier if it's sensor was green.

It's like the predatory scam calls. They're not getting people that are reasonably knowledgeable about anything HVAC or local business reputations.

On of my wife's clients is a retired widow. There was a Gillece truck in front of her house one day when she let the dog out which she mentioned, I had her call immediately and tell her to get a 2nd estimate, but it was too late. Fortunately it was just a hot water tank, but she could have gotten it done for half the price by anyone else. Her mentality was just "hot water is not hot", call whoever.

Amazon Prime will get you most things in 1-2 days. I use PC Part Picker which will index Amazon, B&H, Newegg, TigerDirect, Best Buy etc when I do a new build to find the best price once I pick exactly what I want.

It's so much better now than the 00's. I used to deliver pizza for the shop below the Ft. Pitt Inn (bar next door, different owners same name-ish). It used to be all wood paneling and the doors to the 2 "pocono touch" suites were the cheapest, lightest interior hollow-core doors - let's just say many times delivering there you could hear everything going on inside.

Now that they've had a bit of a renovation, I'd consider staying there actually. If it hasn't changed hands, the owners were super nice and friendly. And it's in a good neighborhood.

So this has been brought up more than a few times recently. Best Buy (at least in Robinson) now carries a full inventory of PC hardware, enough to surprise me. From prebuilts to actual video cards, AiO coolers, CPU's, m2 drives. In relatively recent memory the only PC componets they had were portable hard drives, thumb drives, and like 3 monitors in the back corner - this has changed.

I took the trip to Cleveland last year (maybe year and a half) to visit Microcenter, and it was nice and all but busy. 95% of people are going to order components online, but it's good to know that Best Buy has "I need it today" parts, like when my SSD went out and I had to buy a M2 drive on Black Friday.

All the the apartments in complexes I have rented have had them.

None of the private units though.

I suspect it's an amenity that isn't a big deal for a big complex with a dedicated inventory of spares and a full time maintenance staff.

I know at least one house in my neighborhood was zoned mixed use (residential and commercial) because they had little basement area with a single-chair hair salon.

It's been re-sold twice since I've lived here and rezoned to pure residential. I'm not sure if that was to simplify things but that's kind of what I infer from it.

Still - maybe something to look for as a compromise.

The company seems to be focused on platooning, which I personally think is the logical evolution of "almost self driving".

> A computer will never be able to hook the air lines, check if there is a gap between the apron and fifth wheel, raise or lower landing gear legs, fill itself up with fuel, etc

They'll just have the one driver do it for 3 trucks. That's why it makes sense, still having a person on-hand and just doing more work.

Yeah they used to have a page on their website saying about as much, I looked for it to link it but it's no more. Probably because it changed ownership. Sad to hear about the health issues but I'm glad to hear the new owners are keeping it going/keeping the spirit of the former owners. Best GF pizza in town, it's a 30 minute drive for me and worth it every time.

Worth noting that Mandy's is not just doing it to be trendy, one of the owner's children I believe has celiac's and they take it really seriously. One of the few places I actually trust vs say Eat n Park's gluten-free buns that you know the burger is coming off the same grill as everything else.

WorldVision has a warehouse in Glenfield that does this as well (if that's the charity you work with). They get a lot of donated retail clothing, and have a wall of fame of the more interesting pieces. If you ever wondered what happens to all the "Steelers Superbowl XLV chaps" shirts that are printed up - they get donated and shipped overseas due to NFL licensing restrictions.

I just bought a new car last week.

3 year old used models were going for what new ones were, so there was no point other than availability. Older than that, prices are stupid. As you can maybe tell by my username, I'm a Toyota fanboy - usually try to find something about 5 years old used. Those type of cars are still stupid inflated. Case in point : my wife's 2010 Camry got totaled, Blue Book Value had it worth 3500-6500, and insurance paid out nearly $9k (other person's insurance who was at fault). I paid $10k for it 7 years ago. Insane. And I don't trust Blue Book anymore.

Also Hybrids/electrics basically can't be gotten (at least from Toyota). Tried multiple dealerships. They're still dealing with supply issues. We put down a deposit on a non-hybrid model a week before it was built, still took 3 weeks for us to drive it off the lot.
