Absolute max you’re talking $3000 total if they have custom weighting, really weird expensive cross string combos, etc. It’s not going to be a big deal to him.

Reply to comment by GucciGecko in Danielle Reyna told U.S. Soccer about past Gregg Berhalter domestic violence incident by Dann610
IDK Pefok is obviously starting to score at the club level but in the friendlies he got he looked like he didn’t even know how to kick a ball. Some players just don’t adapt to the national team game. It’s slightly different.
I also don’t think you can just never answer the Gio question. It would still be a distraction in two years if you don’t air it now. Reynas had media allies publicly attacking Gregg. It’s pretty clear to the rest of the press what’s happening and they’re going to hound until they get an answer.

Berhalter addressed Gio’s behavior issues after because the Reyna’s used their media tied to keep the “why didn’t Gio play more” stories running. It was an open question that was going to hang over the players until it was answered. Christian and Adams and McKinnie were going to be randomly asked about it after club games. It’s better to kill it off and move on than to still have it be a sideshow in two years.

You sure? Newcastle attendance didn’t go down.
I personally think it’s bad but the reason they sportswash is because it works.

He got the offers because of what the other person said. It was clear as soon as he did that that he was done and would have to chose between rotting in United’s reserve or taking a paycut to play elsewhere.

He’s obviously not trustworthy but as a political fundraiser I’ll just say that
for donors like him it’s very normal to play both sides because you believe it will stop you from getting regulated
Republicans are always much more likely to funnel their money through IEs than to raise into disclosable accounts because their donors are less willing to be publicly associated, so this is how it would likely look mechanically if he was
It was widely believed in DC circles that he was playing both sides prior to him making this claim, Teddy Schleifer has covered this extensively if you want a source.
I’m ultimately not remotely worried about losing him as a donor. The most effective Dem groups all have limits and most of the IE groups are leaches trying to grift money of billionaires that don’t do anything but charge themselves consulting fees. Probably 5-10% of this was actually spent in a way that helped win elections.
