I'm a pilot so these tools only help automate away my job by way of potentially assisting engineers and developers improve aircraft autopilot and autoland systems.
They don't help me be more successful in my job itself. That said, though, my particular niche of piloting is unlikely to be automated with the typical autopilot or autoland systems. It's more likely that my type of flying is replaced by some kind of autonomous short-ish range drones than directly being automated in its current form.
That said, I am studying web development and creating web apps in my spare time, so they help me come up with ideas or assist me when I'm stuck on a problem, as others in this thread have stated already.
