When I lived in the Los Angeles area I saw quite a few commercials he did for Cerritos Auto Square (a group of dealerships owned by different people who advertised together as a "destination" for car shoppers).
Here's a link to my favorite. Great line in it: "Don't worry about the salesmen. Anyone can whup a salesman..." https://youtu.be/P1UE4_B_6xY
Edit: lots of his commercials are on YouTube.
Edit 2: Jim was very good as Jed Clampett in the Beverly Hillbillies movie, too. The first half of the movie was hilarious.

Never use fabric softener when washing anything that is waterproof. It has petroleum-derived ingredients that will strip away the waterproofing.

Here's the definition I used.
The Grammarist blog points out that that in the U.S., at least, "'factoid' is now almost exclusively used to mean 'a brief interesting fact.' https://www.npr.org/sections/memmos/2016/04/25/605788321/-factoid-doesn-t-mean-what-you-think-it-does
Seems there are definitely different definitions, sorry for the confusion.

My statements are true.

A couple of factoids to add:
-
Bose and Sony are expected to enter this "DIY" hearing aid market. Big money is behind this change! I think this is great news.
-
This is a change Donald Trump signed into law. It took literally years for the FDA to do their part on this.

Trump signed a bill allowing OTC hearing aids way back in 2017. It's insane and maddening that the federal govt (FDA) moves so slowly that it took until 2022 for this to finally happen. I also credit Biden for getting this across the finish line.
