Are we really acting like France doesn’t intentionally support those types? The CFA system promoted by France is also not in the best interest of the African participants.
What you’ve said is very much true, but this is very much a two sided issue with both parties not being good faith actors. The fact some of those African players are looking elsewhere after literally centuries depending on the country speaks volumes. If the relationships were that mutually beneficial there’d be no reason for them to look to Russia or China after all that time.

People tend to go with the best deal. It doesn’t really matter how much of the diaspora France has. One of the only reasons they held such sway in the first place was because they were one of the only options.
If France isn’t more proactive and competitive as far as what they offer they are going to lose out completely. Not just to China/Russia but other players like the Americans, japan, other major African countries in Africa, etc.
For starters, those countries want to develop and get rich. Can France help with that? Certainly doesn’t look like they’ve done much but line their own pockets up to now. (No offense)

The issue is that people may believe that but the American government would salivate at an opportunity like that. Early Ukraine invasion for people watching you could see disinformation spreading around saying that we shouldn’t interfere with Ukraine for whatever reason. It didn’t work, for the reason I just stated. The US government has consistently never given up an opportunity to poke around big competitors, irregardless of what the people may think. You’ll have to be more creative then this.

Taiwan is protecting its self by continuing to dominate the industry. America would definitely show up, and even if they didn’t other western and Asian nations are not gonna be chill with their major supplier being wiped out.

Taiwan and the company wouldn’t have signed off on this unless they had another card up their sleeve. People are also assuming the United States will be able to produce the quantities that Taiwan can and that is 100% wrong. It’ll take a long time before they are as efficient. Taiwan will continue to be relevant for a long time to not just westerners but asia as well.

We will see, but it’s inevitable it was always gonna happen. Seeing as most money is digital anyway may not make a difference. Bye bye to privacy though? Anyway who knows

You just answered your own question. China is not going anywhere, they are a manufacturing power house. Who told you they are collapsing in real time right now? Lol

Not necessarily true. The states has a vested interested in maintaining an order, and if nations can just snap up countries liberally so close to say japan and South Korea it’ll bring up the question of whether or not the states is really still top dog and interested in maintaining order. It’s not just the chips.

That doesn’t make since. Cutting back on the military presence worldwide but raising their military budget? This is a reallocation of resources to other important regions of interest (Europe/Asia?) not a cutback.
