I like the 4 for $10 roast beef just fine. If I want what's on that menu, I just wait until New York strip or top sirloin go on sale at the local grocery store, reverse sear in the oven, finish on a cast iron skillet, boom, as good if not better than what's on that menu.

I found American steakhouses on the high side and that was before the post-pandemic inflation made all prices go through the roof.

Looking at their online menu. $23 is a little high for "chopped steak." Hell, I made it at home tonight using Costco ground beef, gravy packets and Aldi white onion. My stepdaughter, a little slip of a thing, had 2/3 lbs to herself.

Sales guy at my office owns a boat. In the last two years, it's probably spent 75% of the time under repairs. I think he's taken it out once.
Imho, of all the ways there are to waste money, owning a boat probably tops my list.

Also, when I browse "Only Hams," I'm looking for some of that sweet Iberico.
OP, if you have a job with medical insurance, and I very much hope you do, look into the mental health benefits. Talk therapy combined with medication could do wonders for you.
You're young. Start working on yourself now. Don't wait until you're in your late 20s or 30s. There is a whole life of possibilities and happiness out there waiting for you.
Peace.

Right? I get frequent headaches. I read a lot and spend a lot of time in front of screens (I'm in IT) and my eyes get dry and tired easily. I've never had to do anything like that to my eyes.

So I read the excerpt for Love to Last a Lifetime on Amazon.com. Here's the first paragraph:
>From the moment I laid eyes on Greta, I knew she was meant to be loved by me for a lifetime. She'd been talking to my best friend's girlfriend and her smile drew me in like a moth to a flame. Who would have ever guessed our story would be one for the ages?
That is, without a doubt, the single worst opening paragraph I've read in a long time. There are so many issues with it, I don't know where to begin.

I grew up in San Jose. LAPD and New Orleans PD get a lot of attention and a lot of hate, but a majority of my interactions with SJPD have been negative. Terrible organization with a history of corruption and abuse.
