And you got it at Big Lots?

Yeah, I can see why it crapped out on ya after only 3 years. Buying appliances from places like Big Lots is a fool's errand. You're better off shopping around with Amazon, Walmart or Target and reading reviews--food for thought for next time!

In 7 whole hours? Riiiiiight. Skedaddle on to Pornhub, they'd love to have ya.

The fact you're so willing to jump the gun and sue someone just because they called whatever you're doing a scam also says a lot about you. And none of it is good.

"Homophobe bird" is a fancy term for Chick-Fil-A. A lot of people support it, and as an aroace person, it irks me. Even moreso when the food isn't really all what it's cracked up to be.

I've seen a lot of stupidity on this subreddit...guess I jumped the gun with you. My apologies, and thank you for deleting your comments.

Yes. I'm a night owl, I've been a night owl for over a decade now, waking up in the morning is absolute hell in a handbasket for me. Manageable, but my speed, my smarts and my memory all take a massive blow.

The amount of times I nearly fell asleep in class because I've had to get up at 5:30 in the morning is astounding. I slept in and missed the bus so many times and from there I was fucked because 1) my mother refused to drive me or call me out as absent and 2) I wasn't allowed to walk to school even though it was 15 minutes away from my house, so all I could do was just...stay home and miss school.

Relatedly, I once had to get up super early to shadow a friend of mine in a college class. Ended up falling asleep at least twice during the lecture because I was just that damn tired. I had no clue how college students did it but fuck if I didn't think they were troopers.

So yeah. Let the kids go to school later, Janet. It won't kill you.

Every Hannaford I've gone to has a beep and a voice reading out the price of the item. Sometimes it's just the beep and not the voice.

Also, there's no way this applies to every single checkout at either of these stores. One or two checkouts I can buy. Not all eight. And not at two entire stores.

You can play the "but I work there!" card all you want. You stay on your hill, I'll stay on mine.

With Spotify licking the boots of TikTok and Instagram now instead of fixing their priorities and fixing their broken "30-minute ad-free music" lies, I don't really have much of a choice.

And yes, I am, indeed, too broke to pay for Premium, before you ask.

If you wanna suggest an alternative not named Pandora, fire away. I'm completely open.

Nope. You pay after you see the apartment. You never, under any circumstances, pay before.

If a landlord charges you an application fee, especially if it is an exorbitant price, it is a scam. Do not fall for it. Chances are, the apartment is dogshit (mold, cracks, etc.) and the landlord is one of those bad-apple business owners who thirst for money as badly as human beings thirst for water.

Landlords will claim "criminal history" or something like that that the fee is put towards, but Google is literally free to use. All you have to do is punch in the prospective tenant's name and voila. Bonus points if they have Facebook; makes the job much easier. It's not entirely foolproof--we've ended up with bad apples who seemed good at first but showed their true colors after a while--but it works.
