The Great Vermont Corn Maze is a very serious labyrinth (usually takes 2.5 hours) if you’re into that sort of thing.

Reply to Hi everyone, relocating to northern NH and considering NorthEastern Vermont regional hospital. I’m coming from a Boston hospital ICU and I know it will be vastly different. Looking for somewhere nice to work, with great part time benefits. Also curious if this hospital is union. Thank you ☺️ by Beefyaki9111111
I don’t know anything about working at NVRH, but St. Johnsbury is a great place to live! We’re about 10 minutes outside of town and the downtown has had multiple great new businesses opening every year.

I order my glasses on Zenni, if you already have a prescription you can get a pair for $25.

As someone who grew up in Illinois, I don’t trust this list as far as I can throw it.

That's rough. I'm in Caledonia County and we had our power out for a full hour on Saturday morning. I was surprised how quickly it came back.

Where in the NEK are you?
It can be challenging to meet people here. Our friends are mostly some neighbors we've found who are also transplants and within 10 years of our age, and folks I've found through our town's Instagram hashtag. I literally DMed someone on Insta after following them for a few weeks to see if she'd like to hike with me and now she and her boyfriend are someone of our closest friends.
Reddit is so anonymous it might be more challenging to get folks to take you up on this offer, Front Porch Forum may be slightly easier.

Unless you’re willing to bike seven miles back to Danville (which is uphill the whole way from St J) I think you are probably going to have to get an Airbnb unfortunately.
