But the organ recital is always a treat! As you did, I always made it a point to walk through Macy's (and Hecht's, and Wanamaker's) to hear it during my many years working in Center City.

Two seems to be about the unwritten limit in Philadelphia.
I'm on the corner and we have only one. And that one sign is partially blocked by a big ass pole not two feet away from the pole the signs are on. The other pole serves absolutely no purpose other than to block the view of the one sign. It's all very Philadelphia..

No. Snyder was the end. Oregon and Pattison added around 1972. I was in Mummers parade one year when Broad Street was under construction. The extension was great for new stadium and Spectrum.

I remember them all as a yound man. This was before the subway was extended from Snyder to Pattison Ave.

That's the Philadelphia way, exactly. I'm an old native and I learned that a long time ago. Too old to worry avout shit like that..
