No, not really. You may be able to get a 72 hour observation here. Then you're on your own. I'm not even sure that's available since the pandemic.

Do you think he'll let you give him a hand job or something if you keep simping for him? I can assure you he does not give a fuck about you or your defense of him. Not a single fuck.

Washington Post is a functioning news outlet. Bezos has been largely hands off of it. musk has encouraged bigots and hate speech, spread outright lies, encouraged the demonization of innocent people, cozied up to brutal dictators, and is single handedly destroying the company. Something like 70% of advertisers have bailed. Most companies don't want their brand associated with antisemitism, and vaccine denial. I mean, fuck Bezos for sure but yours is a crappy analogy.

That is fucking hilarious.
I don't think they'll mind if you take photos of the fun designs that have been made of their only bones. I think the point of offense has long been crossed on that.

I love how people demand capitalism and privatization in everything and then act all surprised when capitalism is what they get. Our entire economy is based on "corruption". It's literally our guiding principle. What on earth do you expect to get out of such a system? Altruism for the sake of money? We've been praising, rewarding, and pretty much worshipping the most greedy, dishonest, and self serving people in our society for a very long time. This shit is working exactly as it was intended to work.

I bought an extremely inexpensive model on Amazon. Chinese knock off TKL for $23.00 with hot swappable Outemu blues, double shot PBT with single color LEDs, and it was worth every penny. I don't like to shill on here but if you're interested I'll send you a link. I have another board I bought open box that I really like too but it has one issue which is the LED for the P key flickers but I don't usually use the lights on that one anyway. It kills the battery which lasts a long time with minimal lights enabled. I paid $29.99 for that one directly from the manufacturer. Even with the flickering it was worth every penny. I used a full sized Amazon basics membrane board for work for a couple of years and that thing looks like it's been dragged down a gravel road for a month. I don't think I'll ever go back to membrane boards. It's much more comfortable and satisfying to type on even a cheapo mech.

I would suggest an oil finish like tung oil. If sanded correctly it'll be like satin and not stick to the skin. This is the finish I prefer on my guitars and bass guitars for that very reason.

Well, it's not likely this will happen but it is possible that we could come together as a species to ensure that these technologies are managed responsibly and their development is harnessed for the good of humanity. It's definitely possible. But again, not likely. 😞

Yeah, Boston Dynamics was the first one I heard come out about this and they've been working with DARPA for years on stuff like Big Dog which I believe was fitted with turrets and whatnot years ago. I don't know how any of these companies could realistically prevent their tech from being weaponized anyway. This is technology that is unfortunately inevitable. If for no other reason than it's effective and everyone is looking for an edge over their enemies. If we pretend otherwise and plug our ears we're really only giving our enemies the opportunity to get ahead. I hope no one here mistakes this as approval of these things. I can no more approve of this than I could a hurricane. It's just the way things are. Someone is going to do it. There is no way around that.

I would say if there is one thing that makes humans unique it's our arrogance. The kind of arrogance that leads us to believe we're unique or that it's important anyway.
