It is very much as you said - Mona Lisa esk - in that we don’t know what she’s doing with her hands. Is she dancing? Is she mid sentence and very expressive when she talks and caught off guard with the picture? Is she describing how to do something? And with her being Spanish the hands are the focal point where as Mona Lisa the facial expression is the focal point. Love it
