I have one of these. I used to actually use it for its intended purpose, but now I use it for pour overs instead. Coffee tastes better.

Using the refined milk of genetically modified goats to stop warships by tangling up their propellers?
Amazing science.

Do you know what a CME is and what a Carrington level event would do to our civilization?
It sounds like you dont.
Maybe you think that Aurora Borealis in Alabama is normal??
And I am a lib.

Lol. A couple of days ago there was a Coronal Mass Ejection that hit Earth that caused aurora borealis as far south as Alabama.
This was only Earth catching the edge of it. It could have been as strong as the Carrington event, which repeated would devastate the modern world.
It's not unlikely that in the future you could need Luddites to keep you and your family alive.
How good are your Luddite skills? Can you farm and hunt? Build a house? Forge metal?

Reply to TIL That the Hallway (as an architectural feature) was first recorded in 1597 by SalMinellaOnYouTube
Vitruvius wrote a lot about colonnades and arcades. Which are sort of like hallways. He wrote about porticoes and also "fauces", which are short hallways.
"Fauces" comes from the word for the upper throat.
So this isn't true.

Too heavy? They arent bad:
A Pelican Air 1615 is max checked bag size and weighs 14lbs. A Pelican Air 1535 is max carryon sized and weighs less than 9lbs.
Its unlikely that you will ever break these. And if you ever do Pelican will send parts no questions asked.
