PNW transplant here. I'm from Portland so I know far too well how the media can run with a narrative that paints a disingenuous picture of what a city is actually like. Despite the very real violence and crime I do think Baltimore is an amazing place though, and community wise its leagues better than Portland. Glad to see you here!

True, that's an expectation I'd have at any job. Personally I just wanna be respected by boss/management and fellow coworkers too, I can take shit customers easy

Yeah not gonna lie if I can avoid it I'd really rather not be a cashier. Beggars can't be choosers so I'll take what I can get till I can move up but I'm the kind of person where if I'm working I NEED to be moving, standing/sitting still sounds horrendous. I'm sure finding a decent job won't be hard though.
