And yet are probably the most loved cult classic modern comedy, I think it’d take a US bomb for that anyday. They’re extremely British also, yet many Americans I’ve asked said they loved it too. (Plus Shaun only opened to 607 theatres, and they both overperformed massively for what they are. The trilogy made 150 mil on a budget of 41 mil in total.

That the Cornetto Trilogy is underrated. Don’t get me wrong I fucking love Edgar Wright and all of his films, and Pegg and Frost are brilliant, but fuck me how do people think he’s underrated at this point? Never met a single person who said they hated it or disliked it, only they didn’t get it, and everyone else loved it

JLC over pretty much any of the best supporting actresses . Her character was purely for laughs and frankly I didn't think it was that well acted anyway. Kerry Condon deserved it the most, then Hsu, then Hong Chau, then Bassett, then jlc. Should've just given her the lifetime award.

I think if you need to have every aspect of a not particularly complex film that has already laid out every point then maybe Peele isn't for you. Hate is a strong word, and one not remotely warranted by your criticisms. Your questions about Jean Jacket do nothing but prove the point that either you were distracted and didn't pay attention or somehow can't comprehend such a simple explanation.

Baby Driver. Love the film, but it's widely considered that the romance is the worst part of it, spent a bit saying she liked music then bam, she waits years for him while he's in prison? (yeah ik its probably a dream). I'd also argue Minnie Driver's character in Good Will Hunting, but she went to school with my mum so I'm not gonna dis her character.
