I believe DC law states that the terms of the original lease remain when you go month to month except for lawful rent increases. But what I don’t know is if that means that the term in your original lease about the 90 days notice remained in place or if the “except for lawful rent increases,” provision is covered within that, meaning they only have to give you 30 days notice. They certainly have to give you some notice, I just don’t know if it’s 60 days.

We were at the National Theater yesterday for a show. I live in Kaloroma. It took me an hour to Uber over there, and that's after 6 drivers cancelled. I walked home. It was nice weather and happy to be healthy enough to do it, but my God it was a mess down there yesterday. No way I was going through that again and paying 50 bucks.

A few years ago a friend’s family was visiting the DC area from South Africa. The man who was driving had never been to the US, never driven on this side of the road, and never driven in snow. In SA they drive on the other side of the road. He left Dulles and the road were completely snow covered and it was snowing like nuts. He ended up merging onto an exit. Thank God a VA state trooper was right behind him and pulled him over. He was actually very kind, no ticket and let him on his way. I have a friend from AU and when we travel there she always drives . I think on main highways it’s fine as you can easily follow traffic presuming there is some, but if the road is abandoned and snow covered, or you are on a side road, it’s easy to make the mistake.

that being said someone with a CDL would not be in this situation.

I worked the polls as a check in clerk in and can confirm this but he has not lived here for long enough to be eligible. And for anyone else reading this please if your address does not match your current ID and/or your voter registration ID bring something with you that does. Otherwise you have to cast a provisional ballot and if you do not go to the elections office within I think it's two days to verify your vote does not count.
