The point he’s trying to make is that the cycling deaths are indicative of the mayors promise for vision zero but no meaningful policy changes were made to achieve it. Even if there were no cycling deaths this year so far, could the city council really take credit? What do they do?

Controversial take but the fact that I actively see PPA officers out of their vehicles and ticketing cars and while every time I see a PPD officer they’re sitting in their squad car sitting on their phone makes me want to like the PPA. At least they’re actually doing something.
However the PPA as an organization is so shady and not even run by the city and who knows where all the money from tickets actually ends up. Either way it’s a lose lose situation

It was flixbus which I think is kinda affiliated with greyhound. I was planning on taking a megabus but megabus cancelled my bus because of a shortage of drivers and didn’t refund me the full amount 🤷🏼♂️

I took a bus back from NYC a few weeks ago and it just dropped us off on 8th and market, didn’t even bother with the sketchy bud terminal lol

When suburbanites say “that part of town” is bad they mean the whole city cause they can’t fathom the idea of a large metropolitan area being anything other than a shithole

It’s not just city living, rates are going up in all areas because the number of accidents is going up, the severity of accidents is higher, and the combination of higher severity and higher costs due to part shortages and inflation are driving costs up
