Thank you! I'm mostly concerned with keeping ticks of my 7 month old. I want to spend as much time outside as possible. But I also worry that finding ticks on my baby will break my poor sleep deprived mind.
Our backyard is also surrounded by woods...

Please forgive me I'm new here. I would prefer to hold off mowing as long as possible for economic and ecological reasons, but what about ticks?
Someone told me that leaf litter and tall grass would increase ticks.

Sorry, but I know enough Trans folks to know your "science" is nonsense and bigotry.
Gender affirming care for kids puts them on hormones that pause puberty until they are old enough to make a decision for themselves.
It doesn't castrate them. It pauses puberty and gives them time to think things through and go to therapy.
It's important to pause puberty because if they go through puberty as the wrong gender they end up getting harassed by bigots after they transition.

Also something to consider: In Texas kicking your kid out for being gay Is not child abuse. Sending them to conversion Therapy isn't child abuse and sending them to unlicensed military schools isn't child abuse. but gender affirman care is.

Reply to comment by Tacticalaxel in New map ranks all 50 states by the most snow they received in 24 hours. Maine's record is 35 inches which was confirmed in Middle Dam on November 23, 1943 by completeembarassment
The current results source says it's single calendar day, so my guess is midnight to midnight.
I'm not sure where someone would find a database of snowfall recorded by the hour. So finding the 24 hour record would take reading historical news articles and a lot more research than looking at a chart. The article doesn't list it's source but I'm guessing the national weather service.

Honestly, I'm so tempted, but the thought of MORE living creatures to be responsible for right now is too much. Maybe next year.
Yea, no pesticides. Need bugs for baby to catch when he's older.
