I can’t remember off the top of my head, I know that day I was driving back from St. Helens and I saw this little island in the smoke so I pulled over and took a photo.

Dude you can see this like a half mile from the parking lot in Paradise! Super easy hike and there’s actually a beautiful waterfall right there as well. This is also part of the Skyline Loop Trail which is a fun one!

The Wonderland Trail goes all the way around Rainier with areas you can camp, you just need to get a pass which is the hard part, good luck!
