Reply to Is a Strike on the Horizon? A Look at What the Writers Guild Faces in the Coming Months by PetyrDayne
Honestly, let them strike. There are literal millions of aspiring writers who would easily jump in to take their place, and are so eager to enter the market that they will accept whatever terrible offers they get with no unionized protections.

Reply to NieR:Automata Ver 1.1a Anime Delays Episodes 4 & Beyond Due to COVID-19 by DemiFiendRSA
Anime in general as an industry has been struggling with brain drain, burnout, terrible pay, employee exploitation and generally just unfathomable amounts of bad management. For every one studio that runs "well," there's five more that are constantly on the brink of disaster.

I'm not convinced there isn't a right wing shadow campaign to slander this show.

Heaven forbid young people take an interest in politics. No, better that they ignore it and let things get worse.

If it's anything like Covenant, they'll probably just say "David spent a lot of time experimenting on cryo-sleeping colonists until he got a batch that's just like the original Alien."

None of the AvP movies are canon to the original Alien universe. They're just fun alternate history fanfiction films.

I frankly hate the concept that the aliens AND the alien queen are all a simple invention by a human-made android. It completely cheapens the mystique of the Alien itself by turning it into yet another "folly of man" story.

Nah I agree. S3 just felt like it was continuing the same "will Homelander turn of the public or won't he?" treadmill that it's been running on since S1. It feels like everything always ends up back at status quo no matter what happens.
