I mean, he;s the president of the country, he;s quite a visible person, he's the one going to every summit etc, it's not like the russians might forget about him if we just stay quiet.
i understand your sentiment, don't get me wrong, but please understand that i's not like he can "step back" at this point, it's a bit like bill gates - microsoft or jeff bezos - amazon, they're both not CEO anymore but people still think they are, even after stepping back.

The sign tells that the tank came from a region close to Mongolia and was taken out in a city close to Kiev, having traveled about 6100KM. It was blown up by an Anti-tank mine.
On the other side of the turret is a sign reading "W Zalinski Square 1" as if it's a street sign.

in what way would you say it promotes war? i see this more as a statement for a ceasefire nut i'd love to hear your take on it.

it's a statement being used a memorial, one of the signs on it reads "i will rave on putins grave" for instance.
