Yeah that’s understandable, one of the pluses of a case is you can change up your color/style to whatever you want so I get that.

I’m using a black case so my opinion probably isn’t useful there, but I always tell people for cases your best bet is to look up reviews on YouTube so you can see what they actually look like versus marketing images. And get better in depth reviews on the different types.

There’s always gonna be an amount of stock available on day one.. how quickly that gets replenished is another story.

So every time a new phone comes out, there is always a long wait to get it for the first while.

Especially iPhones. And especially this year with that COVID thing going on and hitting Chinese factories. This is worse than usual but not new for iPhones. They are in high demand especially the Pro models.

There’s a Google Home app and it works fine with Nest speakers and all that. As for the muscle memory stuff that just comes with time, I’d say it’s a good time to try out iOS right now as it continues to develop as an OS it’s a great, relatively hassle free experience.

Software issues are overblown and by no means a good reason not to get the 14 models. But if you want to save a few dollars and don’t care about the hardware features nothing wrong with 13 Pro they are very close performance wise.

iOS 16.1 came out 2 days ago… the 3rd party stuff will come down the line, but I don’t expect it to be some kind of magical game changer, just a nice to have.

As far as the new pill cutout yeah you get used to it in about 2 minutes but I guess everyone is different in that regard.

Exactly, use what works for you, live and let live. Everyone should be able to use what they like and there’s lots of options for each persons preferences.

It won’t last long

Like I said lol it’s pointless. People spend a lot of money on their phones and always wanna have “the best” it’s just like the Mac vs PC argument. People pick a side and invest time and money into it and feel like they are part of “a team” and take things personal.

There’s nothing to gain by trying to convince others and nobody changes their mind, most people haven’t used both sides extensively as well so they just confirm their own bias, it’s really a futile thing to try to argue about.

It’s such an old argument and people are way too invested/dug into their positions to ever look at things objectively. Basically it’s a pointless debate to even try, just use what you like and let others do the same.

Is it worth it depends on your financial situation and other personal factors that only you can answer. Do you just need a phone for school or for emergencies? Do you need the latest and greatest? How much of a tech enthusiast are you. You will have to decide if it’s “worth it” because everyone will have a different opinion based on their own situation and wants/needs.
