It’s fun to have but I don’t really think about actively using it as much. If anything the Face ID animation is pretty ugly to me, but I’ve gotten used to it. The camera and pro-motion are a big deal breaker for me though. Also any bigger than the regular pro is too big for me personally.

This. Let’s be honest here most are on average, average. Convenient connectivity beats a few decibal of sounds when you can’t care to tell the difference. It just fits so well into the Apple ecosystem and adds to the seamlessness of using multiple devices. Quality of life > over quality of product.

I was in middle school and got scammed into buying a water damaged iPhone 4(?) at the time online from eBay. Didn’t know why it wouldn’t charge or turn on, but brought it to an Apple Store and they gave me a refurbished one on the house. The employee even helped me identify all the signs that it was water damaged. Granted I think the next phone just came out, but the associate was definitely very nice for what he did in my opinion.
