Yeah, not sure how much experience this guy has with ski resorts. Lots of them rent tubes and sleds. Copper, where this happened, does in fact rent tubes.

But then they only allow you to ride them in specifically-designed courses under supervision of staff and during regular business hours.

The problem isn’t sleds per se, it’s that they used one in a place they weren’t supposed to after hours.

Unless OP changed the link, the currently linked article doesn’t mock vaccines at all - it actually seems to support both the vaccines themselves and UConn’s policy.

It does let many of Phoebe’s claims go unchallenged, but overall I think it tells the story of a girl who was given many chances to continue her education and chose to throw it all away.

She was actually given a non-medical exemption for vaccination. But then she refused to do the weekly testing that was required (after an initially confusing email where she thought it was optional), using increasingly dubious excuses to refuse multiple different tests.

Bottom line is she did this to herself. She chose to die on this hill rather than continue her education.

If your town relies on low-income people to function then you should have housing for them. It’s bullshit to say, “yeah, I want to live in a town with garbage collection, nicely landscaped yards, and cute little coffee shops but fuck the people who do those jobs, they can’t live here.”

What’s the context for Lamont’s statement? When did he say it and what else did he say?

Not like it would be a shock if he was wrong about utility rates, but I’m also not about to take anything Stefanowski says in an ad at face value after the dishonest bullshit about property taxes in his other ads.
