How is this offensive and “sucks” isn’t? Sucks is a sex act and is derogatory as a homophobic or misogynistic insult. Not claiming right or wrong, I just don’t understand the why one and not the other.

Glaciers advancing and retreating during the ice age put very large areas under water, connecting what are now separate lakes and streams. But it’s still hard for me to get my head around this one especially at lower latitudes.

So are the press depictions accurate or inaccurate? Is the press coverage biased or is the employment of responders biased or what? The path to solving a problem requires understanding the problem.
