I spent about 6 months commuting weekly between Newark and DC. The first 3 rows of the Friday night flight were full of unaccompanied minors who had one parent in DC and one in NJ. They all wore name tags and one of the flight attendants was designated to wrangle them.

I have a New York EZPass. There is a $1 monthly fee and no outstanding balance. Tolls are withdrawn from my checking account a day or two after they are incurred.

Rt 31 is the worst. It changes from 2 lanes to 1 several times. And you can be sure there will always be a slow moving truck in front of you.

I haven’t been to an MVC office in a few years, but the staff in Flemington and Washington (Warren County) were always courteous and helpful.

The cost of real estate. At one tome there were lots of drive-ins in NJ. Most have closed because the real estate was worth more than the business.

Long before the law was passed I bought a set of 5 that conveniently fold up to pocket size and are washable. I use 2 on my weekly shopping excursions but always keep a third in the car for unplanned trips. I also have several mesh bags that I use for fresh produce.

Everyone agrees that New Jersey has too many municipalities, and all those other little towns should merge. But my little town must remain separate to preserve our unique character. And we don't want people in those other towns controlling our fate.

I feel your pain. We in the 7th will probably lose Tom Malinowski and get stuck with Tom Kean. First time I can remember a major party candidate who held 0 public meetings, and issued 0 statements on the issues. His website doesn't even have a phone number or eMail address where voters can ask questions, But there is a button to donate to his campaign.

The district was redrawn not to get Kean elected, but to protect Democrats in other districts. Malinowski is collateral damage.

I am still amazed that anyone would vote for a candidate who made 0 public appearances and refused to state his position on any issue. But I guess that's the world we live in.

In my town the we get the younger kids right after school. The older kids later. The only rule is that if you don't want to participate, turn off your porch light.

They showed up. I said "take everything". They looked around and quoted a price and took everything. The only exception was a couple of partially full bottles of Windex, laundry detergent etc (they don't take "chemicals") which we put in the trash.

I went through this with my mother last year. I called everyone I could think of - Salvation Army, Goodwill etc. None were interested or available. I finally called 1-800-GOT-JUNK and paid them $700

The few times I have traveled out of state the issue wasn't operating the pump. It was the whole procedure. Do I pay before or after I fill the tank? Do I pay at the pump or do I have to go inside?

Kean has been very careful to not take a position on any issue. He doesn’t want to appear to be part of the MAGA cult because it will cost him moderate votes, And he doesn’t want to condemn the MAGA crowd for fear of retribution from Their Leader. So he says nothing.
 
I find it curious that Trump lives in NJ7 * but hasn’t endorsed Kean or made a campaign appearance with him.
 
* Yes I know his legal residence is Mar-A-Lago but he spends a lot of time in Bedminster

I don't use YouTube very much but I see lots of similar ads on TV. This seems to be Kean's strategy. He doesn't have any solutions, and is afraid to take a stand on any issue for fear of alienating either the normal Republicans or the MAGA crowd. His only recourse is to attack his opponent.
