The world as a whole is done I think. With ALL the greed humanity has, we are done. Between dictators using tech in horrible ways, to global warming, to nukes. Our days are numbered I think 🤔

We also live in the age of instant gratification. Thanks to, well, capitalism and it's quest to sell everything to everyone!
Games are a big culprit in that with pre-orders and early access. People throw fits and get their way when Games don't pan out or are taking too long, why would they act differently elsewhere?

Well, that's when Kojima was having the spat with Konami right? He can't take their ISP and they are more interested in gambling machines last I heard so it doesn't leave anyone to work on it.
