League should give the players each one "players challenge" per game.
And representatives of the NBPA (players association) would grant or deny the challenge.
If the challenge is successful they retain their challenge, but if not they get a assessed a technical foul.
I have a feeling players would get a lot of technicals.

Reply to The reason pillows/cushion/mattresses feel comfortable isn't because they're soft, it's because they're distributing the pressure along more of your body. by ikingrpg
Um, no. "Comfort" is not all about pressure.
Other factors provide added comfort like cooling, layers, spinal support, breathability etc.

I've read that PETA claims dairy products are linked to autism. Is that claim truthful and what is the official stance of PETA (re: dairy products)?

Every difference makes a difference.
Even your opinion right now (even though it's wrong) allows us to have this very discussion... a discussion that has merit.

Everyone has something unique.
Nobody (literally) thinks exactly the same, because nobody has the exact same life experiences and the exact same education or the exact same personality or the exact same physiology.

Reply to ELI5: why do grocery stores in the US keep such a large inventory? Aside from being prepared for episodic panic buying like toilet paper or bottled water, is there an economic reason to do this? How much of the food ends up going bad? by DrEverythingBAlright
It's called demand forecasting.
They look at: Current inventory levels. Outstanding purchase orders. Historical trendlines. Forecasting period requirements. Expected demand and seasonality. Maximum possible stock levels. Sales trends and velocity.
There's waste, but softwares account for that and maximum profit is the ultimate goal.

Antiperspirant is also a solution (vs deodorant). Combining a fresh smell to a stench doesn't always give good results...
Pit stains are also going to persist if only deodorant is used.

Women underwear is (can be) very luxurious, compared to what's available for men.
That being said, if underwear is expensive then it would be effectively taxed more simply by how percentages work...

Reply to LPT request: How to be a good conversationalist without oversharing personal things? by It_hurtsss
You can be a good conversationalist and also overshare personnal things. The two are not mutually exclusive.
That being said, just pick topics that are not personal, yet interesting to everyone. (sports is an easy one since it's less controversial than politics.. but not everyone loves sports so be careful).
Ask open ended questions (avoid questions with simple yes or no answers)
