It's like you completely ignored my response, namely the last little bit, and responded with the same argument you made earlier. I'll quote it again:
>If it was solely due to national relief bills, inflation issues would limited to the US. They're not.
The relief bills may have been part of the issue, but they did not cause nearly the impact you're thinking they did. I will say this a third time, hopefully you'll actually see and understand it: If the relief bills were the sole cause of the issue, other countries wouldn't be having inflation issues as well.
>the government that is paying people to sit at home
Which they are not doing any longer. They printed three checks. It wasn't enough money per person to keep someone afloat longer than a few months, much less two years.
Businesses have to raise wages because the labor pool finally got together and decided they were tired of working 40+ hour weeks at shit paying jobs.
>That's why the government shouldn't pay people to sit around and do nothing, because it makes it harder for businesses to find workers.
I don't think you have a full understanding of the big picture here. You seem to want to pin everything on a few checks totaling a couple thousand dollars per person that stopped getting sent out over a year ago. It's not people sitting at home being lazy. Many of them left their shit paying jobs and got better paying ones. Others went from a two income family to one income because they found a way to make it work. The rest have decided that $7.25 an hour isn't worth their time (and it isn't) so they're outright refusing to apply at places that pay that terrible and are focusing their efforts on places that pay an amount they can live off of.
Please, I mean this as a reasonable human being to another one. Please take the time to thoroughly research, from multiple sources across the spectrum, and use some common sense rather than what the political folks you follow spout out of their heads.
People aren't as lazy as you think they are. Businesses are more evil than you think they are. This issue is way more complicated than you're making it out to be, and it's even more complicated than I'm explaining it as. Just, please, take a few hours, set aside your biases, and dig into it from non-political sources. I've seen people that had the "people are lazy" view do a total 180 after doing that.

You realize that the Bible doesn't even consider a fetus to be a person and that there's even passages for a priest-led miscarriage/abortion ritual, right? Please stop using that stupid book as justification for shit when it directly contradicts the things you're trying to justify.
EDIT: Numbers 5:11-31 (Priest led fidelity test. Woman miscarries if she was unfaithful). Exodus 21:22-25 (punishment for causing a miscarriage due to hitting a pregnant woman. Causing miscarriage = fined. Killing the woman = death. Fetus is not treated as a person). Several other verses imply a being is not living until it has taken its first breath, which a fetus in the womb cannot do.
According to your very own holy book, abortion isn't murder because the fetus isn't a person until they're born and breathe. If you think differently, that's fine, but just remember your own religious text doesn't back you up on that view.

Inflation is typically caused by an increase in production, material, and/or logistical costs.
All three of those have increased worldwide over the last two years, some exponentially. Materials are more expensive worldwide, production costs are higher worldwide, shipping and supply chain costs have gone up worldwide. Demand is up, supply is down. That's another reason.
If it was solely due to national relief bills, inflation issues would limited to the US. They're not.

And there is nothing wrong with that. If anything, it makes in-person voting more efficient because there will be less crowds and shorter lines.

Not in the slightest. 2020 had elected people screaming voter fraud against the very same ballots that put them in office and some were even using the fact it was a split win as evidence, claiming it made it "look real."

It's what happens when you're raised from birth on individualism and looking out for only yourself. It's cultural. There's no "it takes a village" here. It's "if you can't do it yourself, help isn't free."

You don't fight one illegal thing by doing another illegal thing. We have legal methods to handle illegal migrants. We should fucking use them, and crack down on employers who hire them while we're at it. Remove the jobs from them and you reduce the incentive to come illegally in the first place. Rounding them up and bussing them to another state doesn't do shit. It's the equivalent of sweeping a floor, but putting it all under the rug.
We need solutions, not doing stupid shit to "own" the other party. The plan, as laid out in the article, sounds like something a high schooler would come up with, not someone whose supposed to have experience as a "leader."

You know what unemployment does? Bridges the gap between jobs when you lose one unexpectedly. You know what's required to continue being eligible for it? Proof that you're job hunting. It's not just a free check. You have to be showing an effort to get another job or they'll cut you off.

It's not going to stop when election season does. If Shapiro wins, you're going to see constant political shit about the election being rigged and votes being challenged. If Doug wins, you're going to see constant political shit about the political shit he's signing and pushing. In a little over a year, you're going to see 2024 political shit starting up.
The only way you're going to get away from it is to get off reddit and turn off the news. This is world we live in now.

Reddit in general leans left because "18-35 tech savvy males" is the site's main target market and that market is usually on the left politically.
Though if you want to expand that further, reality and history tend to lean left as well. Permissive and progressive ideas have a habit of catching on and becoming part of society as time marches forward.

From your source:
>Workers received nearly $700 billion in unemployment benefits, including an extra $600 per week from March to July 2020
The $600 per week lasted 4-5 months and ended over two years ago. You can rightfully blame it for hiring issues in the summer/fall of 2020, but it's absolutely not the cause for current and ongoing labor/inflation issues in 2022 as that money is long gone. Do you have a source that those payments are still ongoing or are you going to admit it's a more complex issue?
