This, I live in Shippensburg so I know exactly what you're talking about. Now they're even building them off 11. Here in ship were dealing with the same thing. This was all planned I'm sure of it. All of the land around 81 was bought up by the university, the family that owns h&h Chevy and other investment groups. They just waited for all this to happen and cash in. Farms get bought up not by farmers but by developers.

I love how all up and down 81 they build these giant warehouses with the excuse of jobs and tax breaks and all that other bullshit, now the highways are packed with semis and soon all those jobs will be automated as soon as possible. Complete and utter garbage.

My issue with all of the warehouses in Cumberland valley is that they haven't expanded 81 to three lanes with no general plan to do so in the future. 81 is generally speaking jam packed with trucks. And just about every exit is packed with warehouses. Also there are frequent accidents with the increased truck traffic.

That's the case for the one in Connecticut but then it was...hit by a car haha. Ive seen bobcats in the wild before. But I get pictures of bobcats all the time on trail cameras. There's even a trapping season for bobcats.

Last year the PGC sold 45,000 furtakers licenses and 20,000 bobcat permits. That's a lot of steel in the ground that's baited for predators. If they were here someone would have caught one I would think.

I say they're not here but damn would it be crazy if someone caught one. That would be like having definitive proof of aliens haha.

100% agree. I figured bigfoot came from someone who saw a gorilla who didn't know what a gorilla is haha. Or another large primate haha.

The thing I love about mountain lions is that everyone says oh I know someone blah blah. In the last 10 years or so trail cameras have become such a thing that the woods are loaded with them. IMO if they were here they would have been hit by a car or had their picture taken haha.

Yeah but you're just focusing on after tax amount in my mind you're just writing off the other portion. It's out of sight out of mind. Even now most people don't have a concept other then when they randomly look at their pay stub.

You want the tax burden to lift from the workers to the corporations who lobby for the rules to avoid paying taxes, make the people see the full amount. Pay people their entire paycheck, no tax withholdings. Then make the stroke a check or transfer funds every month. The pressure for tax reform in this country might actually happen.

Then have people factor in what they spent that was taxed like sales tax, gas tax, etc. Add that in for their school and county tax and most people wouldn't imagine they're being taxed at such a high rate.
