If it’s 1981 you’re probably good and it’s actually pretty evident whether it’s lead by cracking patterns (I’ve done a lot of abatement projects).

That being said, trust but verify and always check places like basements, etc.

Cheaper to get it done whilst you have your contractor there already

It’s beautiful and basically untouched by man because my country is playing tug of war over it because the piece of shit British empire decided to conquer and divide (in that order). I’ve been lucky enough to fly over it in a small plane and some of my friends have been lucky enough to camp/hike it

Yep—I know it says to use it on floors but I’ve seen people use it on walls too. Also make sure whatever brush or roller you use is a material that it won’t melt (like cotton).

Even just a nylon paintbrush or rubber roller should work but ofc read the instructions

IMPORTANT EDIT: do NOT use an angle grinder and steel brush is you use this stuff lol. You will have to scrape it by hand after but it comes off like butter peel

I used to build airports, there are two main reasons—humans generate 500 BTU each of heat. There are smaller airports with plenums and oversized HVAC systems but you’d have to localize the HVAC systems for each gate instead of just using chilled water systems before flights.

Taller ceilings help dissipate the heat around the entire building. Also, like someone else mentioned, airports are basically symbolic welcome mats to tourists & businesspeople alike so a great deal of expensive architecture goes into them. Some of the most expensive firms serve as the architects of record on them.

EDIT: as many of you geniuses can’t understand, lightning came out in the microusb era. Guess what industry titan decided to make the plug symmetrical?

Look I understand all of your frustrations. It this legislation is foolish by nature…lightning is a million times better than micro-usb BECAUSE it’s symmetrical and less prone to breaking. Sometimes companies need to be forced to innovate and forcing every company in Europe to adopt usb-c is short-sighted.
