No problem! One last thing - while you can download the games for PS1, PS2, PS4, and PS5, the PS3 games on the service are streaming only (I... don't really know why), so if you're in a bad area or have a spotty internet provider, that can be a barrier for that specific generation with the package. Other than that, it is a great value. I use it to expose my 5 year old to the games I played as a kid (he's fond of ape escape).

Flat rate for access to the "classics catalogue" as well as the standard ps+ benefits. It's 120 a year, but a once per year payment for access to a huge library of games. I rationalize it as way less than I spend on Netflix annually for a more useful service.

I would suggest saving up a bit and upgrading to a ps5 disc edition with ps plus premium. That way, you'll have access to the ps5 and ps4 library, and the ps+ premium tier gives you full access to a digital/cloud streaming backlog of games from ps1-ps3. I would normally say just go ps4, but in terms of long term support, backwards compatibility, and the streaming/downloadable catalog, the ps5 will give you far more bang for your buck at this point in the game.

I would say if they care that much about what your pretendy-fun-times fictional character has between their fictional legs, that's a red flag of someone who takes things FAAAR too seriously. Run.

The Yakuza series. Original Japanese is the best audio for that.

God, he was great. I miss the Super Mario Super Show. I think they have it on Paramount+...

Certainly less annoying. The man sounds like a 1940s Disney cartoon restaurateur who's been kicked in the testicles, not a blue collar plumber working out of NY, and I have hated it since I was 12 years old.

Yeah, man, I grew up in Jersey, I have never met a non-immigrant like Mario Mario who sounded anything close to the way Mario has been depicted. While I won't rule out the possibility, he grew up in Brooklyn, with his infancy being spent on Yoshi's Island. He is literally more likely to speak in Yoshi sound effects than with the thick accent he's been depicted. The movie voices are better for the characters.

A world populated by organic-adaptive AI that genuinely changes as you play.
Beat a section where an evil wizard was trying to take over a country? That's okay, the two NPCs who rule the nations to the west decided to engage in a war because Country A wants smaller Country Bs resources or is pissed a prince won't marry their xenophobic classist princess. Sort that out. Oh, while you were stopping evil wizard, magiscientist NPC independently invented a new type of sword that's also a taser. And NONE of this was preprogrammed, they're just being virtual people. Have fun.

PS1. If I was limited just to its games, it would still take me years to beat half of its library (I love you, JRPGs and Strat RPGs, you glorious time sucks), and the hardware would still inexplicably be kicking after those years with proper care. I feel like I could blitz through the N64 library fairly quickly because of a focus on platformers/shooters, and the 360 had notorious hardware issues.

To add some extra context, it was specifically a high ranking member of the Hollywood Foreign Press, which is the organization that runs the Golden Globes, which is why Brendan refused to attend even though he was nominated in that award show.
