The city also owns the land they're on, Greensgrow is a project the city itself invested in. It just casts a shadow over their claims.

It doesn't change the suspect timing. if they were working with authorities, they had options. I'm also familiar with how they treated their employees prior to letting them all go. I can't give them full benefit of the doubt.
Greensgrow also received several grants over the course of 2022. Instead, they've let their website expire and the locations to rot.

After Mary died, leadership changed for the worse. The pandemic exacerbated it.

Reminds me of what happened last summer. Greensgrow Farms' employees voted to unionize and suddenly GG was the victim of check fraud to the tune of over $30k, "forcing" them to lay everyone off.

If you’re getting Covid repeatedly or experiencing long COVID, yeah that’s quite likely. Mask up.

Efff I am so sorry. I hope you’re feeling better now!
I still mask everywhere because I’ve been doing the disability and chronic illness calculus for other things for almost a decade now. One moment, one memory isn’t worth extended illness that prevents you from doing anything at all for an indeterminate amount of time. I went to the Christmas Village today and immediately left. It was PACKED, shoulder to shoulder. No masks, children and adults open mouth coughing. Being outdoors means nothing when you’re that close to others, especially if they aren’t even bothering to cover their mouths

It’s more, Covid can make your immune system forget what to do, similar to measles. It makes you more susceptible to other viruses.

Yes! At least certain ones I know of. Super helpful with telehealth appointments and the pandemic. The chain pharmacy I go to will even transfer them between same chain locations, which was a lifesaver during the 2020 police riots and the assholes who took advantage of that confusion. I think there’s finally a central database now of these scripts, which helps.

Did my time as a tech, too! If we knew the patient was reliable, we might call the nearby pharmacy for them, but otherwise forget it. You want answers about our stock, you need to come in with your script or have your doctor send it in, since they FINALLY have an electronic system for that now.
This isn't a city thing, this is a pharmacy thing. I worked in white-as-fuck suburbia and my bosses gave no fucks about affluence, money, or name dropping when it came to our narcotics inventory.

Pharmacies also aren’t likely to give that information out over the phone without an rx on file. You’ll have to go in.

Okay, as long as he’s got indoor access and warmth. But if you have to be away and he has to be outside, don’t take chances. A double cooler shelter with styrofoam lining and straw makes for a snug winter shelter.

Fill that with straw, not blankets. In cold weather, a blanket can get cold and soggy, leading the cat to freeze to death. Straw is both insulating and drying.
