Politicians lead to inequality and long working hours, technology made work easier but also increased our influence on the world around us. Resource consumption and emissions go up as a result.

There are videos of plastic bags at the bottom of the ocean though.

I heard that before but never understood why it was bad. Is it predatory in some way? If I can't pay off my mortgage then the bank takes my house.
