I was a little nervous about going with Fidium because of the Consolidated Communications piece but I've been extremely happy with it over the several months that I've had it.

There did seem to be a $10 monthly charge that showed up on the bill that I really don't think was on the advertisement and website. But I'm still less than half the cost of my Spectrum and better performance so I've moved on with life.

I like the burger at Nighthawk Kitchen inside of Mast Landing brewery in Freeport. I typically get the one with onions on it but I can't recall the name. I get the Gluten Free bun for health issues and it's pretty good. I can only imagine the regular bun is much better.

I've had several pairs of Crocs flip flops over the years and I've been happy with them. My only complaint is they change styles so often I can never find the particular model again that I really like.

I would not consider these a BIFL type of product. As much as I hate to say it they are probably closer to a disposable type of a thing with maybe 1-2 years of solid use.

Perhaps other brands are longer lasting. I've certainly heard there are some but the ones I've heard of are 3-4 times the price so not sure that's worth it. But I'm open to suggestions as I'm in this style of footwear as soon as I can be in the spring and past when I should be in the late fall. I want to find something that works.

If a part is breaking on these that's definitely not good. I hope they aren't lowering quality.

But if it's just they are wearing out in you that's a different story. These just aren't going to have a lot of miles in them unfortunately.

I'm sure you don't need a random internet stranger to say you sound like an amazing Dad but I'm throwing it out there just in case and for whatever digital karma this may show others.

Hang in there an enjoy an awesome Christmas with your boys tomorrow.

May be helpful to give an idea of what size unit you are looking at. Is this just for a single room or a larger area?

We installed heat pumps in our house several years ago and the cooling aspect of them has been the biggest advantage to use. Allowed us to stop using any window models and now have whole house cooling.

We are in Southern Maine so perhaps a bit different needs than someone in a hotter climate but this has worked well for us and should (knock on wood) have a decent lifetime and could be serviif needed.

We did it for my daughter a few years ago through a ski shop in Scarborough. Many places offer great deals for kid sized gear for the whole season. I'd suggest contacting any ski shops in your area and ask. I'm betting several of them do.

If not it would be worth coming down to Freeport to Portland area and there are a few that don't there.

I think we had to buy the helmet as that's too much liability for them. Otherwise they had boots and skis for a great deal. I don't think young kids they do poles now by default but obviously you could on your own if you want.

Also don't forget to look for any local ski swaps. I've seen a bunch of signs for those in my area all coming up soon.
