Really? There is an amazing amount of research going on every day all over the world. Rightfully it takes a lot of time and testing to bring new therapies to mainstream use. Go back just 20 years and look at how far things have come, immunotherapy, gene therapy, hpv immunisation to eradicate cervical cancer, better diagnosis, screening and drugs.

This entire post is moral panic. Are any of you teenagers? They are negotiating a world that we don't understand and they communicate with each other very differently than most of us ever have. If a teen is comforted by an AI then so what? This generation feel far more comfortable texting than talking. They won't go to counsellors and helplines like previous generations, they will increasingly go to AI and hand wringing won't stop it. We need to help them navigate.

They. The government? Somebody in the government is contacting private businesses to get staff back in the office? Absolute bollocks. The key reason is the level of investment, debt or long term leases that organisations have in commercial real estate that is being underutilised. Not rocket science and not a conspiracy.

A hundred years is a very long time..

  1. In house printable food and goods.
  2. No wiring, cords or power outlets. Everything interconnected, free-charging and wireless.
  3. No grid connections. Power, water everything self-contained.
  4. No garages. All transportation will be air based and on demand.
  5. All windows will be dimmable and add to power supply.
  6. All surfaces will be self cleaning and nanobots will clean and sterilise everything constantly.
