Honestly, I'm not "a fan" but in the recent years I got 3 as I heard they got much better than they were in the past and guess what? I like them!
I got:
- NiceHCK Traceless
- Moondrop VX Classics
- NiceHKC Eb2s
Out of those I like the moondrop one more, as it is more detailed and brighter but of course it simply won't stay on my ears for the life of me.
The EB2S is very good but believe it or not I loved the sound of the traceless, which I bought for about 3 dollars. It was so cheap I'm giving it to a friend of mine who likes earbuds.
OP, which of these is your favorite? I am considering forking some cash for the Fiio FF5 but it's quite a leap from what I have and I'm cautious of weather it will fit my ears well.

Just a correction, the tips that come with the Chu are called Springtips.
Spinfit is a different eartip.

I'm waiting for my combo of Lan & Pad. The store I bought shipped it much sooner than the expected date so I hope I'll be getting it soon as well.
Clearly the lan should sound much better with this mousepad.

I was like this with the Chu. Even though I had the Blessing 2 Dusk it was when I listened to the Chu that my love for the company grew immensely.

I also love IVE and StayC in particular already had a special place at RUN2U was my most listened to track last year on Spotify. I think it only beat HypeBoy because I listened to NewJeans more on flac and on Tidal.
Antifragile and Impurities are also fantastic tracks.
I'm with you on OMG. I just can't get tired of it.

Have you tried a different cable? I'm no expert buy maybe it may a lot simpler than the IEMs themselves. I know this happened to an old Shure pair of mine. I had channel imbalance but after that the sound started crackling and I decided to change cable and it solved both issues.
Hope it works for you.

>but man, when I play on them 'NewJeans - Ditto' or actually any NewJeans song or any Red Velvet song or any IU song or any Billie Eilish song, everything sounds heavenly. Female vocals are just amazing, State-of-Art, they shine, they sound like angels from heaven, it's level of HD600 definitely vocal-wise, always smooth, well-extended and never harsh, shouty or sibilant, just pure euphoria, don't know what to say more.
I was going to ask you how you felt about it but after reading this I honestly think I don't need to ask anything more. We have an almost exact taste in music, apparently, and I have been thinking hard on this year only buying one new set of IEMs: the Variations. I think this settles its.
Currently my "best" (subjective) set is the Blessing 2 Dusk but after trying some different stuff I started thinking that the Variations may be my true endgame.

By the way, this latest album by NewJeans with Ditto and OMG, I have to say, I think it's just perfect. I have been listening to it on loop for about a month lol.
By the way, since I like a lot the artists you mentioned, would you mind sharing more of what you like? Maybe I may find something new I didn't know existed.

Regardless if the revised model is going to be much of an improvement or not, I have to say that I'm pleased to see a company do this kind of thing. Taking feedback, constructive criticism and making an effort to improve themselves and maintaining the good reputation they have built over the years.

I feel your words, man. During the pandemic just sitting in front of my PC and doing nothing but enjoying some music was a lifesaver for my peace of mind, and that is because I'm most of the time pretty chill, I can't even imagine for people that have a lot going on on their lives or are just overall more prone to being anxious.
There was even a moment, a few months that I wasn't listening to music (in a dedicated way) due to time and talking to a friend I realized I was getting a bit sad. It's incredible how just some music you enjoy every now and then can have a great effect on us.

It also runs in 1080p on the switch, which is higher than the 900p the Playstation version does (although it runs at 60fps).

Can you tell me a bit about how they sound?
I remember seeing a video of ZReviews about them and he was gushing about how they sounded like the Moondrop Chaconne but much cheaper and I very much liked the sound of the Moondrop VX Classic but the fit for me is bad. It will fall out of my ears all the time.
