NY state has a toll system for most of its highways. MA DOES NOT. This is HOW THEY KEEP UP THEIR ROADS and MA does not. It's not rocket science.
Both I-90 and I-87 in NYS are Toll Roads. Except I-87 North of Albany. Tolls in NYS are not cheap, the ONLY Tolls you pay in MA are on I-90 or the Ted Williams, Sumner or Callahan Tunnels.

You'll pay $250 deductible to get the air pods back from renters insurance. So just go buy a new pair

The police are not going to investigate your $250 or less airpods. You have find my iPhone for that. It's your personal responsibility to take care of your own stuff. It's definitely not some part of a bigger thing. No one is stealing airpods with your dirty earwax and re-selling them. If they're newer airpods then they have the ability to be seen where their battery went dead. If they are older than the newest ones, you are talking $50-100 resale value.

Reply to comment by [deleted] in Despite the geographic similarities, and their proximity to eachother, New York was never considered a part of New England. Why was this historically? What sets NY, especially Upstate (with scenic views, small towns) apart from NE? by Commercial-Life-9998
No its not. It's a Northeastern State. There's no map anywhere that it's a Mid-Atlantic state.

It's in Boston next to the Brighton neighborhood. It only houses the most famous Children's Hospital in the entire world along with Brigham and Women's, Beth Israel Hospital, Harvard Medical School. Along with a bunch of other stuff.

Right but there are options for 2bd for 3k not 5k. It's all a matter of what you want and where you are looking. That is my point. Someone from Arkansas sees 5k for a rental and they automatically would be frightened. Even at 3k they would be. There's no prices like that down there. You're perfectly fine with it as you just came from downtown and you're getting more space for probably the same as you were paying in the city, or at least close to it.

Well you live near the most affluent neighborhood in Newton. Also I don't know how many bedrooms, bathrooms, or amenities. This was where you chose to live. I can promise you that there are apartments all over Newton. 1bd start 2k

Rent is not $5k here. Not even close. Unless you're looking at one of the luxury buildings built by I-90. Try again. I've lived here now for almost 4 years

The OP has to commute to Longwood. Are you trying to give him a 2 hour commute?
Megsmik8 t1_j3djbef wrote
I also live in Newton, it greatly depends on the neighborhood you choose to live in as how expensive it's going to cost you. No matter which neighborhood you live in though, it's super safe and you will have the greatest public education in the country for your children. If you want direct access to the Longwood area via the MBTA you'll want to look in the Newton Centre area. You can be in Longwood within 15 minutes. Which is faster then driving unless you drive at night. Good luck in your search and feel free to DM me if you have any questions!

It depends on your area and even if they are available in it. I think if they're a super high traffic store, they don't allow instacart. I live in Newton and mine uses the one in Waltham. Which is why I'm guessing mine has it.

Because no one actually thinks it through. They don’t know NYS. Most people east of 495 know east of 495 and that’s it. They travel North to NH, ME for both summer and skiing. Maybe also VT for skiing. Then there’s also the Cape in the summer. If they do go to NYS it’s typically not often and it’s downstate. You don’t hit Tolls on I-95 until you hit the Bridges. If you take I-84 it’s the same, you hit a toll at the Newburgh-Beacon Bridge. If you drive on the parkways in NYS, which aren’t toll roads, they aren’t nearly as good.
