I’ve had DNR check my license three time in three years. Considering that they can confiscate your equipments if you’re not properly licensed, that’s enough to keep me up to date

Reply to I’ve got a new project. I’m new to the city and wish to explore on the weekends like a traveller. Suggest me your best spots please and nearby parking! by BeyondRecovery1
Old Ellicott City is a nice half day trip. There are different shops and good eateries and bars. There is an axe throwing/VR place for activities besides eating and shopping.
There is a parking lot off Oella Ave just as you turn off Frederick Rd. There is another lot further up Main St on your left just after you pass Old Columbia Pike.

Family members worked with him on Homicide. He was a great guy.

I’m in Catonsville and heard it three times today, but am too far from JHU for that to be the source. I wonder if UMBC or CCBC is the Catonsville source

I have done this with my Subaru a couple of times. My husband has done it with a rental car. This is very relatable

Reply to Anyone with experience of Michael & Son for heating work? Mine was, sadly, terrible. by TakeCareBeWell
We’ve had very good luck with them upgrading our boiler system from oil to gas and doing annual service. We did have to wait for days for service one time, but that’s because there was a big snow and the plows skipped our street. As soon as we got plowed we called them and they came out the same day. We didn’t need a part so there was no further delay.
We’ve also called them for basic plumbing repairs, but I’d go to a different plumber for that stuff from now on.

I’ve only seen mudlarking on the (London) Thames videos. Would love to have something like that here.
ETA: quick search of YouTube didn’t turn anything up.

Reply to Is there anyone out there with success/experience in challenging property tax assessments? by Kooky_Deal9566
We challenged and won - we used SDAT for square footage of property and residence, number of bedrooms/baths and what those properties were assessed for. Ours was way higher than others on our street and we by no means have the biggest house. We used all that info to challenge. We were reassessed because we bought the house that year and put considerable work into it, converting from three apartments to a single family home.

The most recent time we ate there, we were each gifted a drink of Bailey’s/Fireball. Sounds awful. Was good.

I’ve never had a problem with their wine, either by the bottle or by the glass, but I’m no connoisseur

Cazbar Turkish Restaurant is lovely. Great food, drinks and service, and they usually have belly dancers on Saturday evenings.

I second Royal Taj. The food is terrific, but it’s also worth going there just to sit in the dining room

I agree with Atwater’s in Catonsville. Also, I love The Trolley Stop in Oella; it’s located just off Frederick Rd just over the bridge as you leave Old Ellicott City. We eat breakfast or lunch there a couple of times a week

Here’s the trout stocking link. You can eat the trout at any of the stocked sites because they usually aren’t there to pick up anything that would sicken you. I like to fish Lake Elkhorn in Columbia and Centennial Lake in Ellicott City. I’ve caught bluegill as well as bass there.
