I always try and identify with NJ and show pride because more times than not we’re the forgotten state. It’s always PA or NY getting the attention, never NJ. I like to remind people that we exist and for the most part it’s a pretty pleasant place and the stereotypes aren’t true.

They are not supposed to be on state property without a permit. It’s typically not enforced though. Unfortunately it’s not a priority for most road crews to remove them until after the election because they will just pop up again the next day and they don’t have the manpower or have more important work to tend to.

Reply to Are front license plates now optional in NJ? I see a lot of cars with NJ rear plates and no front plates. by jaenjain
My front plate fell off when I was off roading and I drove without it for probably close to three years but I always had it in the vehicle. I drove past the same trooper almost every day going to work. Eventually one day he pulled me over and simply told me to put my plate back on and let me go about my day.
