Thank God my folks still live in TN, that's not an explanation I'd want to give to my dad if he saw one

Not sure about this award but they did make NYT's top 50 us restaraunts list last year. Not even top 50 vegetarian/vegan, just top 50.

Hey I'll take it! Not exactly a community I'm interested in joining myself, but I god knows how much money I got during rougher days back in college doing commissions for fursonas. Not even NSFW stuff, they just pay good money in general, those folks paid my rent a couple of times. Maybe I should hand out business cards lol

Moved into Pittsburgh just after this event last year, what is it actually like if you're just in downtown but not going to the convention? Miserable to get around and super crowded or do they mostly keep to the hotels and convention center?

Hey quick heads up if anyone was looking to fly into the city today if driving or being driven is an option; don't!
Had the worst flight of my life last weekend during the last high wind event coming in from a connecting flight from DC. Plane was delayed 6 hours, finally got on a aplane (after deboarding due to unrelated issues), had the roughest flight of my life. Then we couldn't land in PIT due to the winds, we made it close enough that I could all but touch the runway, and had to turn back around to DC. At least 4 people, myself included, were just full on vomiting by the end and the plane had to be checked for damage before it could taxi in to the terminal
I got off that flight shaking like a leaf and ate a pretty decent sum of money to cancel the next flight scheduled for the morning and just got a long haul taxi to take me in. Longest and most expensive 1 hour flight of my life

Yeah coming from a rural/suburban area it has been a real fuckin treat to try and rapidly parse out what these signs mean as I drive past trying to find a place to park. What's worse is streets that are clearly wide enough for street parking, with no fire hydrants, curb cutouts or garages to block but just no visible parking or no parking signs to be found

Oh my god that's so ugly I want to live there so bad. Moving away from an HOA strangled suburb to all the weirdness Pittsburgh homes have to offer has been refreshing

Beautiful! Is the distortion on the underwater line work all organic or did you use anything like displacement to sort of guide those lines?
