Everyone is harping on him but it seems pretty clear to me that he's having a mental health crisis.
Instead of getting help, or being forced to get help, he's being allowed in the spotlight, and everyone is lapping it up.

Dude, that one building yes but the whole area is amazing. I wandered for two days there and could easily go back.

In a CBC article posted elsewhere in the comments it said there were already 100 in Ukraine with hundreds more to come.
