UMass is going to give you the more typical college experience. Going to college downtown you don't get the campus experience, but you're right in the middle of everything and may end up not getting as involved in college-specific activities because you have so many other options.

I'm disappointed it wasn't yes by a wider margin, but I'm not really surprised. Our conservatives, by and large, aren't the far-right kind but there are a good number of right-leaning and centrist voters, and many of our more liberal folks aren't necessarily super progressive.
