I used to live in a “not so legal” apartment with some Ukrainian folx that were working there on visa.

Honestly some of the kindest people I ever met and best neighbors, they also helped move me in the first day when my friend had to bail.

I’m no role-model when it comes to traffic laws while cycling, so take this with a grain of salt, but the amount of Harvard kids I see coming down the wrong way on N. Harvard street by the bridge is nuts.

I can understand doing it in the slower traffic area/neighborhoods, but cars legit go 40mph there and they wanna play chicken in the bike lane.

Reply to LARPing by MrSneakerr

Depending what type of larping you’re looking for, you could try to go on a few Scul missions. Scul is a sci-fi bicycle chopper gang that goes on missions and documents them as space logs.

I’ve never done it, but I see them around from time to time.

Anytime I’ve seen cops have to give verbal descalation it’s the most jumbled garbage of “hands up” “hands down”, “on your stomach”, “DOnT move”, “come towards us”, “where are your hands”, “don’t get up”, “crawl”, “walk to us”.

Also I spent a whole summer watching them misuse less lethals for crowd control.

So police reporting that they “attempted” verbal deescalation should be taken with a grain of salt.

+1 on the business class if you can swing it

Came back from NY the other weekend. Spent the first two stops walking up and down the train cars trying to find a seat because people love to pile their luggage on the spare seat.
