I’m sure it does. For me and many others, as you said, it’s not worth it. And personally, paywalling a system feature (PiP) which is free on android is just absurd. And on top of that, as I said, I hate the YT UI. Vinegar replacing that UI with the native one is awesome for me. And it also works on my iPad and Mac, where I watch the majority of my content

Tracking, ads, bad UI (imo) and lack of PiP all push me to the web. I’ve got an awesome extension called vinegar which adds the native player, blocks, ads and more. It’s well worth the price imo

Google locks the max resolution on the YT website to 720p on mobile to push people to use the app. There’s an awesome Safari extension called Vinegar which will let you watch up to 1080p. Also replaces Google’s player with the native one, removes ads, adds Picture in Picture, and is built by an awesome dev. Well worth the price imo

Yeah, I mean you do you mate. Although I have to say, you absolutely cannot turn off tracking. You may be turning off certain tracking. But not all of it
