A lot of boutique companies like Swan Song Audio and Spirit Torino use drivers made by Nhoord Audio iirc, definitely worth a look. They seems to be popular with DIYer too.

Moon Audio products are usually of higher quality. If you are new to the hobby or not using higher end equipment, it's better to buy cheaper one and invest the rest on your cans first imo.

So are cheap headphones or IEMs comparable to entry level speakers, or is it the other way around? I feel like I have found my endgame in portable audio and thinking of getting sonus Faber or Wharfedale.

Those XDuoo are absolutely more than enough, I remember running LCD-2 off a dongle just fine.
Edit: MQA are basically the same as those "high-res" gimmicks, and DAC chip have no correlation with the sound output whatsoever. What matter is its implementation, and if it's implemented correctly, it will produce sound without clipping or distortion. It won't increase detail or soundstage or anything like that.

Curious, what have you tried to reach this conclusion? Just wondering what people with this opinion use, I often find they often use harder to drive headphones.

Nice, they are really well build and have good enough technicalities for their price, although I find all entry level ifi products to sound too warm for my taste. They are definitely excellent and even potentially pause game if you are into their house sound.

Thanks for the recommendation, will probably get a smaller watch case so I don't have to shove them together lol. Wish IEM nowadays comes with bigger case like those old Noble and Empires where you can fit many in one.

I'm currently using my old watch box for storing 3 IEMs, it's rather small and they are made of cardboard. Could doing this damage them? My average room temperature is around 15 degrees and it's a relatively humid place (I already put silica gel tho)
