DC has been its own entity longer than 34 states have been states. You gonna retrocede West Virginia to Virginia and Maine to Massachusetts while you're at it?
EDIT: *to Virginia

This. I've seen '80s-era car chases set in "DC" that involved numerous palm trees. On the other hand, there's DC Cab, which aside from a few alley scenes that were apparently filmed in NYC, was shot almost entirely on location in DC. It's actually a pretty amazing historical document at this point.

No problem! You can also check with Child's Play in Chevy Chase DC - they might also have some resources.
Finally, reach out to Dr. Edward Spector - he's a Rockville-based psychologist with a TON of experience with ASD and video games, and I'm sure he'll have some resources to share:

Try reaching out directly to Labyrinth Games on the Hill: https://www.labyrinthdc.com/
They might be aware of groups or other resources that could help. Plus it's an amazing store!

Hey, if you're adding the Amen Break, you should include Ashley's Roachclip (Chuck Brown & The Soul Searchers) - another cornerstone-of-hip-hop breakbeat. Too bad there's no DC connection to the Funky Drummer break...

No - Yes Organic stores do that. Penzey's sells in pre-measured jars and zip-top bags, and the price drops considerably as the amount goes up (and the bags are significantly cheaper, because you aren't paying for a jar). But the quality and selection at Penzey's is waaaay better than anything else around.

Closest place to you with a good selection is probably Metro Wine & Spirits on Columbia Rd.
Further afield, I agree with those who recommended Calvert Woodley, Sherry's, and Schneider's.
