I was just called a couple weeks ago , after filling out the questionnaire I wasn’t exempted , so I showed up ( I am not a morning person at all!) they then tell me the case was cancelled but they couldn’t get the text message thing to send the message we didn’t have to come .

I’m a ham and live on northern border , talk to Canadians everyday who bitch there teachers are making $80k , I’m like do you want an educated child who grows into a well reasoned adult or do you want the average American ? You can pay your teachers well now or you can pay with idiots later , it’s that simple , I am very proud to be well educated by some amazing teachers , I easily became a life time learner because I had teachers who inspired the best in us , unfortunately within a few years of my graduation many of these teachers were replaced with inferior models who work cheap and the the whole abortion of No child left behind happened and ended all electives in school ( I had wood shop, metal shop, automotive , small engine repair, pottery, photography , year book , home economics , Spanish, French , drivers education , swimming , sculpting , archery among the many that I took ) that sadly don’t exist anymore . I had such a great experience in elementary school that’s also no longer done ,the entire school participated in hunting turkeys ,growing vegetables , picking apples , peeling and chopping apples potatoes and then cooking the meal in fire pits in huge cast iron Dutch ovens , some of my best memories even after more than 50 years . Back in those days your teacher was determined by your last name so I had the same teachers as my older sister and brother , so there was a strong family bond already when I got to school . A good or bad teacher can make or break a child’s future. TYFYS to all the educators on this thread , you don’t feel the love in your paycheck , but there are many who love you and respect your service and sacrifice .

So I am a firefighter who changed apparatus from a truck to a wheelchair , and people assume your an idiot and have no life because they don’t see you they see a wheelchair , if I didn’t tell you I was medically retired and in a chair you wouldn’t know . So sometimes I say 100 percent because I know that’s generally a sign of dishonesty however since I am not being dishonest I have nothing to fear , I hope that will come through Lima Charlie . It’s been openly discussed in media for years , I was born and raised in NY , moved to PA when i retired , and am a huge fan of history ( lifelong stamp collector 32 years amateur radio license does that ) my dad was born and raised in Scranton , you don’t know me but those that do know me will tell you I am brutally honest . A word of caution if you live in subsidized housing they don’t recognize medical use or legal state dispensary cards ,they go by federal law where it is illegal , so it’s a hit of clusterfuck , if you have a cannabis card you are supposed to smoke it at home , however since it’s federally illegal your housing manager can and will evict you for smoking or possessing if your caught ( and unfortunately 9 out of 10 times the court agrees and evicts you , I have seen this happen to many times to people and families who are now homeless for following the rules ) .

I always have pork in freezer and Kraut in fridge , I am a hot dog and kielbasa fan and eat something pickled or fermented every day ,and I think legally possession of fresh sauerkraut as a food group is required . I used northwest they tried to screw me , I moved to PNC about 16 years ago , nothing but a great bank in my experience , I have had a couple experiences of people stealing and trying to use my cards , the fraud division of the bank has reached out to me , saying there’s possible fraud because apps I had never used and restaraunts I had never been ,were suddenly ringing up big sales . They prevented the transactions and I had zero liability protection , nothing but positive experience . When pandemic lockdowns had only drive thru open I would sit in line in my wheelchair , they would come grab me and bring me inside , they didn’t have to , the fact they did speaks volumes about them .
