Sure, I just don't think we'll see a successor to Blu-Ray optical media. It's cheaper to produce for now but even triple layer is getting pretty close to thumb drives at 128GB, with SD Cards being about twice as expensive, give or take. In order for another standard to win it has to have a reason to hit mass production at scale, and it was tough for a lot of people to swallow the cost of Blu Ray when it was new with streaming services biting into its biggest market. Honestly if it weren't for video games and some archival media Blu Ray would be limited to cinephiles and users in low internet service areas already.

Regarding optical media, yeah, probably. Removable media will continue to move to the SD-Card/Flash Drive route until something comes along to disrupt flash media.

AI as currently developed get to inherit all of our flaws. Hopefully they figure out how to fix it.

Potentially yes, and maybe wormholes need a minimum amount of energy to open that is greater than the gravitational delta between the 2 locations (hence making them in similar locations in spacetime being the lowest energy cost, a good reason for gates to exist over a mobile/onboard system). It may also be that there is an energy penalty for traversing through wormholes that is equivalent to any kinetic energy gain that would have happened.

There's just a lot to be negative about in the world nowadays. Things are looking much, much worse than they were even in the 90's. There's much too good a chance we don't figure out a way to keep heading in the right direction overall and have some major, major steps back. Like the dark ages look bright and happy steps back.
