Manhattan is 27x smaller than London though because London is a massive sprawling mess compared to Manhattan which is just the city centre, so to the same scale it would have 400,000, but then you're comparing the density of Manhattan to the whole of London which isn't exactly a fair comparison either.
Misread the title and forgot to include the other two areas, total area makes London 4.4x larger, so 66,000 cameras to London's 950,000 comparative to area. So yeah, pretty fucked.
Another interesting fact I picked up while I was googling though was that there are 15,000 cameras just in the London underground.

Oh? I've not looked into the modding scene for it.
Edit: damn, looks like things have changed a ton since I last looked at subnautica, and now I have a PC that can actually run VR well... Guess I know what I'm doing.

Back in those days, they just wrote the 1s and 0s straight on the disk with a pencil.

There's much more to Taiwan than just chips for china, it's a wealthy country for lots of reasons, and they've wanted it even before it was wealthy, it's home to their political rivals they've been trying to kill for the last century, chips are only in the news at the moment because that's the US interest in Taiwan.
And besides that, just going scorched earth and leveling the playing field, if China can't get them, at least the US can't either.

Yeah, we're locking them out of future changing tech that's almost entirely made by the island just off their coast we don't want them to attack, that they've politically laid claim to forever and have been winding up to take over any day now for the past 30 years.
I feel like we're forcing their hand into a conflict over Taiwan.
