Saw him just a few years ago when he toured with Peter Frampton. The guy still has it. His voice was still good, his playing was on point, and the visuals were entertaining. Took my 20 something daughter. We both loved the concert.

I think this is one of their most underrated songs.

Rush. I was into ELO and Steve Miller when Rush was big with my classmates. Couldn’t be bothered. Rediscovered them while expanding my Prog rock collection, a few years back.

Canadian group Tragically Hip is the obvious answer, but they are probably not as universally loved here as say, Great Big Sea or the Rankins.
Marianas Trench is the Canadian version of Maroon 5, and is exponentially better. Better lyrics, more talented musically, incredibly entertaining videos. They’re fairly well known outside Canada, but I feel like they should be bigger than they are.
Y’all have probably heard of Celine Dione, Shania Twain, and Sarah McLachlan. But I’d urge you to check out these Canadian songwriting women: Ruth B, Serena Ryder, Hannah Georgas

And here I’m preferring track 4 “Give It Up”! Lol

Always a safe bet to throw some Daft Punk in the party mix. Since they broke up, these two tracks are about as good as it gets from their discography for dancing:
Or if you throw in some Pharrell:

Surprised you didn’t go for this Jacko track – it usually tops the list of his most popular danceable tracks:

Pretty sure this one’s gonna get a retro surge in popularity because of Barbie movie.

While being a white person staple singalong song, Bohemian Rhapsody is a bit too slow before the head banging mid point drop/turnaround for dancing. Sorry.
In my opinion Dragon Attack is one of Queen’s most underrated songs. It pretty easy for drunk stoners to get a head bopping groove on because the funky beat is about as obvious as you can get, and the bass and lead guitar double up on the main riff that keeps driving through the whole song:

Lol. Definitely agree with the Groove Armada pick.
I’d go with this Fatboy Slim track tho:
And when you said throw in Bootsy Collins, thought for sure this would be the resulting Fatboy Slim track (where Christopher Walken turns into Christopher Flyin):
Hope this one gets played at parties for decades to come. I mean, it’s right there in the title:
Can’t go wrong with this Ronson / Mars party classic:
And a classic blast from the past (OMG, I’m old. Your 22yr old partygoers weren’t even born yet. Lol):

The Mike Garson piano solo in David Bowie’s Aladdin Sane is intended to be an expression of exactly that – the grasping for meaning and pattern within a slide into despair and insanity

The entire B side of Circle of Love is one long weird song.
